Here to Inspire
Our Story
When MoneyMatix Founder and CEO, Tynah Matembe moved and started a family in the UK, she struggled to reconcile the attitudes of money from cash-based Uganda with Scotland’s credit-ready economy. Failing to find tools to help her model relevant & healthy habits for her children, then finding that many people faced similar challenges, she started her journey to solve this problem.
Armed with this dual perspective on money, she set about creating resources to help families manage money in a way that would support a positive understanding of money and help them thrive.
Tynah was named Most Inspirational Scottish Female FinTech Leader for 2019 and MoneyMatiX continues to receive nominations and recognition for its role in transforming the lives of diverse communities.
